About the Role
Join Edwards Lifesciences in Singapore as an Associate Packager, contributing to manufacturing medical devices that significantly improve patient outcomes globally. Your meticulousness and dedication to continuous enhancement will be central in transforming innovative concepts into valuable healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload valves into and from equipment, operate packaging machinery, and conduct labeling and packaging tasks in strict accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Carry out line clearance processes ensuring verification of valve serial numbers against work orders, manage component issuance via JDE system, document traceability data accurately, and finalize work orders with proper sign-offs.
- Clean and sanitize tools and pack components/parts ahead of sterilization procedures.
- Perform general workplace housekeeping duties and handle the transfer of materials between designated areas.
Requirements and Preferences
- Secondary education completed; previous experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), clean room environments, or medical device production is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows and procedures.
- Familiarity with computers and proficiency in processing transactions using JDE software.
- Capability to execute product packaging and sterilization process responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to absorb and apply training for new and advanced procedures.
- Proficient English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently under detailed manufacturing instructions with minimal supervision.
- Effective teamwork skills, collaboration primarily with colleagues and supervisors.
- Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback through sequenced work assessments.
- Compliance with company policies including health, safety, environmental protection, and pandemic-related protocols.
- High attention to detail and consistent adherence to quality standards.
