Job Purpose
The Associate Manager (Officer - Security) will be responsible for carrying out security operations aligned with strategic goals. Key responsibilities include participating in risk assessments, enforcing mitigation steps, conducting surveillance and patrols, managing access permissions, and safeguarding company assets to ensure a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily security functions aligned with business and site objectives, providing insights to improve the security strategy.
- Ensure strict adherence to operating procedures and security SOPs for consistent process execution.
- Conduct patrols and monitor premises through CCTV systems, maintaining detailed records and promoting high situational awareness.
- Oversee access control operations, verify compliance, and report any process deviations to security leadership.
- Manage visitor access cards ensuring secure and efficient visitor entry and exit processes.
- Monitor business-related traffic and cargo security by verifying vehicle and cargo authorizations using GPS and RFID technologies.
- Serve as a support responder in emergencies and incidents by following established protocols and managing any exceptional situations.
- Stay informed on digital and AI developments to enhance security effectiveness and sustain competitiveness.
Key Stakeholders
- Internal: Officer Security, Security Personnel, Zonal teams.
- External: Law enforcement agencies, Security vendors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years professional experience in security operations focused on access control, patrol duties, and emergency response readiness.
