Job Summary

The Associate Domain Support role is focused on managing tasks and resources within the Domain Support department. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Domain Support and assisting the Head of Domain Support, this position ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of QNB's systems while supporting employees through various operational and technical responsibilities. The role also involves learning and shadowing managerial tasks, project handling, delivering key outputs, and clear communication.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure all bank sectors are supported with appropriate IT systems following established standards.
  • Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and best practices for domain support associates.
  • Regularly update system profiles by integrating new features and upgrades.
  • Maintain punctuality and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Manage Change Requests (CRs), Task Request Sheets (TRS), and Service Acceptance Request Forms (SARFs) within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Install and verify endpoint agents such as Anti-Virus, Ivanti, S1, and Algorithm.
  • Apply system patches and remedy vulnerabilities, including antivirus installations.
  • Conduct Disaster Recovery (DR) simulations and backup verifications.
  • Closely monitor that all GIS Agents are fully installed across necessary systems.
  • Encourage cost efficiency and productivity to reduce expenses, minimize waste, and optimize benefits for the bank.
  • Operate within delegated authority limits.
  • Adhere to QNB's Integrated Performance Management and Development (IPMD) requirements.
  • Manage and maintain system domains as assigned, including Microsoft infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, SCOM, Windows Servers), .Net platform applications (QNB Workflow, Move-IT SFTP), security infrastructure (Trellix Endpoint Defense, Ivanti Patch Management), Citrix infrastructure (XenApp, VDI), and cloud services (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Assist internal and external customers regarding bank products and address their inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain activities in line with SLAs to enhance turnaround times.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal departments to align with the Group’s goals.
  • Provide accurate and timely data to auditors, compliance officers, financial controls, and risk management teams as required.
  • Oversee recruitment, motivate and guide employees, ensuring adherence to bank values and performance standards.
  • Support application users by offering troubleshooting, guidelines, and maintenance assistance.

  • Stay current with developments in Microsoft technologies, including operating systems, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Engage in relevant training sessions and pursue certifications such as MCSA and MCSE to validate expertise.
  • Utilize self-study through online materials, official documents, whitepapers, and community forums to deepen technical understanding.
  • Participate actively in knowledge sharing by contributing to internal documentation and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Leverage Microsoft’s official documentation and knowledge bases for troubleshooting and best practices.

Education and Application Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
