Associate Director - Renewables

Overview

We are supporting a renewables platform in hiring a Corporate Finance Associate Director for their Dublin office, focusing on advancing the growth of their Irish renewable energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financing efforts for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Structure and negotiate both debt and equity financing at the project level.
• Develop detailed financial models, conduct investment analyses, perform due diligence, and manage transaction processes.
• Evaluate project economics, expected investment returns, and determine optimal capital structures.
• Collaborate closely with banking institutions, infrastructure investors, and institutional capital providers.
• Support the review and financing of newly developed project opportunities.
• Offer commercial and financial guidance for important investment decisions.
• Engage directly with senior management on wider corporate finance and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to ongoing growth, optimization, and expansion of the Irish renewable energy asset portfolio.

Candidate Profile

• Possess over 8 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, infrastructure investment, or the renewable energy sector.
• Exemplify strong skills in financial modeling and transaction execution.
• Experienced in evaluating investments from the perspectives of both debt and equity financing.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
