Job description
Overview
We are supporting a renewables platform in hiring a Corporate Finance Associate Director for their Dublin office, focusing on advancing the growth of their Irish renewable energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financing efforts for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Structure and negotiate both debt and equity financing at the project level.
- Develop detailed financial models, conduct investment analyses, perform due diligence, and manage transaction processes.
- Evaluate project economics, expected investment returns, and determine optimal capital structures.
- Collaborate closely with banking institutions, infrastructure investors, and institutional capital providers.
- Support the review and financing of newly developed project opportunities.
- Offer commercial and financial guidance for important investment decisions.
- Engage directly with senior management on wider corporate finance and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to ongoing growth, optimization, and expansion of the Irish renewable energy asset portfolio.
Candidate Profile
- Possess over 8 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, infrastructure investment, or the renewable energy sector.
- Exemplify strong skills in financial modeling and transaction execution.
- Experienced in evaluating investments from the perspectives of both debt and equity financing.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
