About the Role
Supercheap Auto Warrnambool is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to step into a leadership role following an internal promotion. This opportunity is perfect for a motivated individual ready to lead a team of 15+ and maintain the strong performance standards of one of the region's top stores, located in a picturesque coastal town.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to maximize store sales and operational efficiency.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive, engaging environment for the team.
- Drive team engagement, safety, and high-performance standards consistently.
- Manage operational tasks including visual merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in retail management or leadership, demonstrating exceptional customer service delivery.
- Strong leadership capabilities to motivate, inspire, and develop team members.
- A willingness to learn and grow within automotive retail, with an enthusiasm for the products and services.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising, stock management, loss prevention, and performance monitoring.
- Commitment to establishing and maintaining a safe working environment.
