Job description
Position Overview
The Assistant, Payroll will report directly to the Manager of Payroll and primarily manage the routine functions of the Payroll Team based in Macau.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the Payroll Team comprehensively.
- Assist with collecting payroll data necessary for final salary calculations, including attendance logs from scheduling teams, ad-hoc adjustments from business units, and other payroll-related information sourced from HR.
- Safeguard critical and confidential payroll information, encompassing employee salaries, payroll records, and personal details.
- Organize and maintain an effective filing system for all payroll documentation following each month-end closure.
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries through the payroll enquiry hotline.
- Manage external payroll transactions with entities such as the DSF, SSF, banks, and related organizations.
- Carry out miscellaneous tasks under the guidance of the Payroll Manager as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Have at least one year of relevant experience in payroll processing.
- Familiarity with Macau Labour Law.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exhibit a strong sense of accountability and professionalism towards job responsibilities.
- Capable of performing efficiently under tight deadlines.
