About Agile Horses
Agile Horses is a specialized manufacturer and exporter of equestrian apparel, delivering premium riding products for a diverse range of global brands and clients. The company is located in DadaNagar Industrial Area, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Role Overview
The Assistant Merchandiser will collaborate closely with senior merchandising staff, suppliers, and internal production units to ensure the seamless and timely fulfillment of orders in the garment export sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support management of buyer orders from sourcing raw materials through to final dispatch.
- Liaise with suppliers to procure fabrics, trims, accessories, and auxiliary materials necessary for production.
- Compile and update order sheets, time and action (T&A) sheets, and monitor production progress.
- Coordinate efforts between sampling, production, quality control, and packaging teams.
- Track adherence to production schedules and ensure orders are completed on time.
- Maintain clear communication with buyers and suppliers regarding order specifications and updates.
- Keep thorough records of order statuses, approvals, and delivery details.
Candidate Requirements
- 0 to 2 years' experience in merchandising within the apparel sector; fresh graduates with applicable knowledge are welcome.
- Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting.
- Strong organizational abilities with emphasis on follow-up and coordination.
- Meticulous attention to detail and capability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Experience in garment manufacturing or export merchandising is advantageous.
