Overview

Grover Sweets Private Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager in Quality Control to join their team in the Keshopur Industrial Area, Vikaspuri, West Delhi. The role focuses on upholding product quality, ensuring food safety, maintaining laboratory standards, and adhering to regulatory requirements across manufacturing operations. The position involves leading the Quality Control team and maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, hygiene, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality.
  • Conduct monitoring of quality parameters through in-process and batch-wise inspections.
  • Oversee testing procedures of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
  • Manage product release processes ensuring batch traceability and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.
  • Identify deviations, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Update and maintain SOPs, quality manuals, and compliance records.
  • Ensure regular calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports utilizing MS Excel.
  • Lead, train, and supervise Quality Executives working across different shifts.
  • Liaise with Production teams to facilitate timely quality interventions and corrective measures.
  • Report quality deviations, trends, and improvement strategies to senior management.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility

  • Candidates must have 2–3 years of practical Quality Control experience specifically in the dairy, sweets, bakery, or food manufacturing sector.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Dairy Science, Microbiology, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Candidates with prior experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry are specifically encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, GLP, food safety standards, laboratory testing protocols, and quality control methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Excel for quality reporting and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a quality control team.
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and committed to regulatory compliance.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during audits, peak production cycles, or quality related escalations is essential.
  • Male candidates preferred.
  • Having personal transport and residing near the plant location is advantageous for ensuring timely presence and operational readiness.

Working Conditions

  • Work schedule includes a six-day workweek with possible extended hours as required.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with industry standards, ranging from INR 40,000 to 50,000 per month.
