About the Role

Franklin Water Treatment, a division of Franklin Electric, invites motivated individuals to join their team in Winnipeg, Canada, as Assemblers. Our company specializes in pioneering water treatment solutions, producing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The position demands precision, dedication to quality, and a focus on timely assembly to contribute meaningfully to our continual pursuit of excellence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble various water treatment units or kits using available parts, following detailed operational instructions.
  • Safely operate forklifts as part of the manufacturing process.
  • Work at different assembly stations to meet scheduled production targets.
  • Report any issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Franklin Electric Quality policies, guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Candidate Profile and Skills

  • High level of attention to detail and strong work ethic.
  • Dependability and punctuality with excellent attendance.
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions accurately.
  • Prior manufacturing experience and familiarity with hand and power tools are advantageous.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts between 1 to 3 years preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Stay on feet for prolonged periods and frequently walk around the workspace.
  • Occasionally sit, climb ladders, stairs or ramps, twist or bend, and perform tasks requiring upper body strength, including reaching above shoulder level.
