Position Overview
A UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy located in Coventry, West Midlands is seeking a proficient Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will have proven experience in performing comprehensive asbestos surveys within domestic and local authority settings, demonstrating the ability to begin work independently from day one. This role offers competitive remuneration between £27,000 and £42,000 annually, along with extensive training and benefits such as a company vehicle, overtime payments, pension contributions, and paid annual leave.

Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited company.
- Possession of BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 qualification in Surveying.
- Comprehensive understanding and application of HSG 264 guidelines.
- Capability to work independently on-site.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing complete management, demolition, and refurbishment asbestos surveys.
- Collecting asbestos-containing material (ACM) samples on site for analysis.
- Transporting samples securely to laboratories for examination.
- Preparing detailed, technical reports summarizing findings.
- Offering direct client consultation and addressing technical questions.
- Strictly following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintaining positive working relationships with clients.
- Keeping abreast of updates in legislation related to asbestos management.
