About the Role
The Appropriate Body Coordinator position at Star Academies involves supporting and managing the delivery of Appropriate Body services to schools across England. This includes supervising team members, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring smooth operational procedures for the Appropriate Body.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and delivering Appropriate Body services to schools throughout England.
- Supervise Appropriate Body Administrators and support the team’s effective functioning.
- Provide administrative support such as managing school registrations, assessment processes, and online platform operations.
- Offer information and guidance about Appropriate Body services during induction sessions and Teaching School Hub events.
- Manage incoming queries effectively, offering support and advice to schools on Appropriate Body-related issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems and processes used by the Appropriate Body service.
- Lead data collection and reporting activities to prepare documentation for stakeholders and board meetings.
- Support financial procedures alongside the Appropriate Body Strategic Lead.
- Collaborate with associates, partners, Department for Education, local authorities, schools, trust leads, and other Appropriate Bodies.
- Ensure schools understand and implement the operational protocols of the Appropriate Body clearly.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Possession of a PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in meeting administrative deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple components.
- Familiarity with Management Information Systems.
- Strong skills in project management, organisation, and administration.
