Role Overview
The Application Specialist is tasked with ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction of specific software applications. This role involves technical support, performance monitoring, user training, and collaboration with IT teams to resolve software issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance to end-users by diagnosing and resolving software issues.
- Provide clear guidance and support on effective software usage to users.
- Continuously monitor software application performance to maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and update applications as necessary.
- Work alongside developers and IT colleagues to identify and fix software bugs and issues.
- Facilitate training sessions for new users to ensure proficient use of applications.
- Maintain and update documentation and knowledge base resources to aid users in troubleshooting and queries.
- Stay informed on software updates and new features, communicating changes proactively to users.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication along with interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Familiarity with SQL and experience using ERP applications is advantageous.
- Foundational knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) concepts.
Additional Details
Working Hours: Night shift from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
