The Role
We are recruiting Android software engineers to develop BJAK's native Android experience for our AI Finance Agent. Ideal candidates prioritize clean user flows, quick performance, product excellence, and delivering reliable mobile features to real users.
Responsibilities
- Develop and launch Android features utilizing Kotlin.
- Design intuitive mobile workflows covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys.
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability, security, and reliability in mobile flows.
- Enhance app performance by reducing crash rates, improving loading times, responsiveness, and memory management.
- Utilize analytics, user behavior insights, and production incident data to refine the product.
- Create AI-enhanced mobile experiences only where they genuinely benefit users.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
- Strong foundation in Android principles and real-world application delivery.
- Proficiency with Jetpack components, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architectural patterns.
- Deep understanding of mobile usability, edge case handling, and user flows.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and troubleshooting live issues.
- Ability to execute swiftly, take ownership, and maintain high product quality standards.
- Providing app links, GitHub repositories, screenshots, or examples of released applications is highly advantageous.
