Expert Insights Overview

The Expert Insights division encompasses AlphaSense’s extensive Expert Transcript Library and its 1x1 Call Services. This division delivers unique market intelligence by providing unfiltered perspectives from frontline business operators interviewed by experienced investors. The transcript library boasts more than 140,000 records from all industry sectors, growing monthly, and serves institutional investors, sell-side research, consultancies, and large corporations.

The Directed Content Team

This team plays a crucial role within Expert Insights by generating thousands of expert interviews quarterly on high-priority topics. Their mission is to identify, recruit, and onboard top-tier global experts aligned with target research areas, ensuring quality, relevance, and comprehensive coverage in the transcript library.

Position Overview

As a Directed Content Analyst reporting to the Operations Manager, you will source highly qualified experts for research projects defined by Project Managers. You will develop expertise in specific industry areas, use research techniques to find suitable candidates, conduct direct communications to assess and onboard experts, and maintain the highest quality standards for the expert network. Proficiency in Mandarin is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source the most suitable experts for assigned research projects through detailed research and outreach.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to clarify and adjust project scopes as needed.
• Perform outreach using email and LinkedIn to engage potential experts.
• Conduct screening calls to verify candidates’ fit and background relevant to the research scope.
• Document expert profiles precisely to facilitate efficient evaluations by Client Contributors.
• Address expert inquiries and objections to promote expert onboarding success rates.
• Negotiate compensation with experts to align payments with insight value while managing costs.
• Coordinate scheduling of calls between experts and Client Contributors.
• Monitor live calls and resolve technical difficulties promptly.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum two years of experience in research, recruiting, talent sourcing, market intelligence, or a comparable area requiring proactive outreach and assessment.
• Natural curiosity and strong pattern recognition skills to identify ideal expert profiles.
• Energetic and able to manage projects with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Highly organized with the capacity to handle numerous simultaneous tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately capture key elements of experts’ relevant skills and experiences.
• Skilled communicator capable of engaging experts and articulating network participation benefits clearly.
• Goal-driven and focused on efficiently delivering expert profiles that meet project needs.
• Fluency in Mandarin is essential for this role.
