Position Overview

We are seeking an Algorithm Engineer specialized in Digital Signal Processing to transform raw satellite remote-sensing data into valuable insights. This role involves working with sensor and radar datasets, designing algorithms, conducting sensor calibration experiments, and enhancing data quality. Ideal candidates are detail-focused, analytical, and passionate about satellite technology, signal processing, and machine learning.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and implement algorithms for raw satellite sensor data processing.
  • Develop machine learning models tailored for remote sensing applications.
  • Analyze and interpret radar and signal datasets.
  • Perform calibration experiments to enhance sensor data accuracy.
  • Innovate methods for extracting insight from noisy and complex data.
  • Assess and optimize algorithmic performance.
  • Document technical findings, experiment outcomes, and algorithm results comprehensively.
  • Offer technical assistance supporting both pre-sale and post-sale activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and customer engagement teams.

Candidate Requirements

  • An academic degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or closely related fields.
  • Proven experience in algorithm design and development.
  • Competency in Python programming.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and achieve deliverables.
  • Proactive attitude, motivation, and precision-oriented work style.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Singapore citizenship is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Familiarity with digital signal processing concepts.
  • Experience handling radar, sensor, or time-series data.
  • Exposure to machine learning frameworks and statistical modeling.
  • Knowledge of satellite remote sensing, geospatial datasets, or signal analysis techniques.
  • Skill with Python libraries like NumPy, SciPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Experience designing experiments for data calibration and quality enhancement.
