Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Adelaide, South Australia involves installing both split system and ducted air conditioning units. Responsibilities include mounting indoor and outdoor equipment, preparing and connecting piping, and performing electrical and drainage connections when properly licensed. The role demands interpreting technical plans and manufacturer directions, selecting suitable installation sites, operating tools safely, and verifying system functionality through testing.

Additional duties encompass troubleshooting minor installation problems, making necessary adjustments, maintaining clean work areas, and communicating clearly and courteously with customers regarding system operation and upkeep. Compliance with safety regulations and company protocols is mandatory while collaborating with peers to deliver timely and high-standard results.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient practical experience in installing split and ducted air conditioning units using hand and power tools responsibly.
• Ability to understand and apply technical drawings, manufacturer guidelines, and job documentation for precise installations.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning principles including refrigerant handling and pressure testing; possession of relevant certifications and licenses is advantageous.
• Firm commitment to health and safety regulations, safe manual handling practices, and proper personal protective equipment usage.
• Strong communication and customer service capabilities; ability to work effectively in a team and engage professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Valid driver's license with readiness to travel across Adelaide and nearby areas to job sites.
