About the Role

At Stella Stays, artificial intelligence is revolutionizing our workplace beyond just automating routine tasks like writing emails or summarizing meetings. We aim to rethink and transform how work is conducted altogether. We're looking to hire an AI Builder who will identify critical challenges throughout the company and develop significantly improved solutions.

Your assignments may span various departments such as Finance, Operations, Guest Experience, Revenue, or People. You will engage directly with teams to observe their workflows, pinpoint bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and challenge whether existing methods remain necessary. Then, you will design and implement innovative fixes.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze high-impact problems across different Stella Stays departments.
• Create enhanced systems, workflows, and tools aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reduce lengthy manual processes significantly, such as cutting a Finance task from six hours weekly to ten minutes.
• Develop AI agents to automate parts of operational workflows.
• Integrate systems for seamless data flow without manual transfer between spreadsheets.
• Rapidly build internal tools in days instead of traditional long software development cycles.
• Deploy automated analysis on large volumes of guest data to highlight critical issues.
• Revise and modernize processes rendered obsolete by AI advancements.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies to determine their applicability to company operations.

Working Approach

Business problems are prioritized before technology solutions. You will start by deeply understanding the work firsthand, mapping processes, grasping their purposes, and identifying what truly matters. Solutions can vary from AI agents, automation scripts, dashboards, internal applications, API integrations, to simply redesigning workflows. Quick prototyping and delivering usable early versions are essential.

Candidate Profile

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with an aversion to repetitive, redundant tasks.
• Ability to structure ambiguous or complex issues clearly and efficiently.
• Comfort in collaborating closely with diverse teams to understand operational nuances.
• Constant engagement with AI tools, actively experimenting with new possibilities.
• Familiarity with APIs, automation workflows, data handling, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Demonstrated capacity to build prototypes or solutions such as automations, internal tools, scripts, or workflows addressing real concerns.
• No requirement for a computer science degree, but effective building skills are crucial.
• An instinctive drive to create solutions whenever problems arise.
