Role Overview
The AGI Researcher position is a full-time, on-location role based in Tiruchirappalli. This role involves designing and executing experimental research on cutting-edge machine learning models, cognitive architectures, and reasoning systems. Responsibilities include reviewing scientific literature, creating and validating new algorithms, analyzing outcomes, documenting findings in technical reports and publications, and collaborating with engineering teams for prototype development. The researcher contributes to internal seminars, research strategy, and ensures alignment with safety and ethical standards in AGI development.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, including implementation and evaluation of complex models.
- Background knowledge in AI theory, cognitive science, or computational neuroscience, with familiarity in reasoning, planning, and representation learning.
- Proficiency with AI research programming languages such as Python and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, coupled with good software engineering skills.
- Capability to independently conduct research: hypothesis formation, experiment design, dataset management, and data-driven results interpretation.
- Experience authoring and reviewing scientific literature, documentation, and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines, or equivalent research experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to AGI safety, ethics, and understanding the long-term implications of AI technologies, embracing responsible research methodologies.
- Strong collaboration skills, effective problem solving, critical thinking, and willingness to work onsite with multidisciplinary teams.
Minimum education
Doctorate
