Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage and oversee cost accounting activities for two manufacturing plants located in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting entries, supporting audit processes, and facilitating inventory controls in line with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and review accounting transactions within SAP.
• Conduct cost accounting activities for two factories operating in Saudi Arabia.
• Compile and prepare comprehensive cost analysis reports.
• Engage in scheduled physical inventory and asset verifications; track inventory turnover rates effectively.
• Assist with both local and headquarters external audits by supplying necessary documentation.
• Complete other finance-related assignments as delegated by the headquarters Finance Department.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Well-versed in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Exhibit fluency in spoken English communication.
• At least two years of practical experience in cost accounting within manufacturing settings, with an understanding of standard costing methodologies.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with SAP software is advantageous.
