About the Role

Apaar Source Finance Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Accountant to oversee the daily accounting and financial operations of our NBFC business, particularly focusing on MSME and business loan activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting entries, manage ledgers, vouchers, receipts, and payments accurately.
• Utilize Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel to maintain financial records and accounts.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage all banking transactions.
• Maintain detailed loan accounting records including disbursements, repayments, interest calculations, and related charges.
• Manage statutory compliance accounting related to GST, TDS, and other applicable requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
• Prepare management information system (MIS) reports and monthly financial statements.
• Liaise with chartered accountants, auditors, and banks to fulfill accounting and compliance obligations.
• Ensure thorough documentation and accuracy across all financial records.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of three years experience in accounting.
• Prior experience within NBFC, finance, lending, or loan accounting is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, GST, and TDS compliance.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and financial transactions.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with keen attention to detail.
• Capability to independently manage comprehensive accounting tasks.

Eligibility

Applicants must have at least three years of relevant accounting experience to qualify for this role.
