3rd Shift Sanitation Operator - Albertville

Job Overview

This role is dedicated to thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all production floor areas in compliance with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-operational protocols. The operator will use high-pressure hoses, chemical cleaning agents, and perform assembly and disassembly of production lines and equipment to ensure cleanliness before shift end while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitize production equipment, lines, floors, ceilings, light fixtures, and fans.
• Dispose of waste materials consecutively to maintain a clean environment.
• Utilize proper cleaning methods including high-pressure hoses and chemical solutions.
• Obtain and adhere to safety trainings such as Lockout Tagout (LOTO), fall protection, and possibly Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operation.
• Perform physical tasks like walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds as required.
• Ensure compliance with Tyson policies and safety procedures.
• Complete all duties within the assigned shift timeframe.

Candidate Eligibility and Terms

• Role is primarily open to internal team members already employed within the facility or complex.
• Rehires face a mandatory 181-day waiting period from their last employment date.
• Applicants with three or more prior Tyson employments are ineligible for rehire.

Conditions and Environment

• Exposure to variable conditions including warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty environments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate is $18.55 plus an additional $2.00 shift differential.
