Overview
Become a key contributor in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences as a Maintenance Engineer at Hilton. Beyond managing the upkeep of physical infrastructure and systems, you play a vital role in creating memorable stays for every guest by embodying the warmth and light of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and cultivate a strong team by recruiting, training, supervising, and mentoring members; conduct performance reviews and provide development opportunities to foster motivation and excellence.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair tasks comply with safety regulations and standards across buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems through careful oversight and inspection coordination.
- Manage daily maintenance workflow by prioritizing tasks, overseeing work completion via the property maintenance management system, and promptly addressing service requests, guest issues, and emergencies.
- Support capital improvement and rehabilitation projects by assisting with scheduling, budgeting, contractor bidding, and managing licensing/permitting processes, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Lead energy conservation efforts by developing programs aimed at reducing utility expenses property-wide.
- Monitor and analyze engineering department KPIs such as equipment maintenance, audit outcomes, and team productivity, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to facilitate operational functions including evacuation drills, duty manager coverage, and adherence to safety procedures.
