Job Overview
This position is for a General Manager role at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate and distinct from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license for McDonald’s branding and products but operates independently, including all employment-related decisions.
About the Role
The General Manager will lead the restaurant towards profitability while maintaining McDonald’s high customer standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves collaborating with leadership to set strategic goals and devising plans to achieve these targets. Managing a team of Department Managers by providing guidance, setting departmental goals, and tracking progress is essential.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the restaurant meets profitability and quality standards.
- Work alongside leadership to establish and execute restaurant goals.
- Lead and support Department Managers, assisting them in goal-setting and performance improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience managing high-volume restaurant locations is essential.
- Experience with McDonald's systems and operations is highly preferred.
- Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is desirable.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary around $55,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.
- Monthly performance-based bonus program, with the potential to earn an extra $2,200 monthly upon meeting targets.
- Potential for salary increases based on experience, performance, and completion of training programs.
