Architect

Role Summary

NovaSpaces is in search of a visionary Architect who specializes in commercial interior and workplace designs. This role demands creativity combined with practical execution, involving the entire process from initial planning and design to visualization and coordination for premium managed office and enterprise workspaces.

Core Responsibilities

• Create innovative space and workplace layouts tailored for commercial office projects.
• Develop detailed architectural and construction documents including layout plans, working drawings, and GFCs.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, renderings, and walkthroughs for effective client presentations.
• Design well-balanced workplaces maximizing space and enhancing user experience.
• Prepare furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, flooring designs, and detailed interior elements.
• Coordinate bill of quantities and material specifications alongside project teams.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, MEP teams, and execution groups to ensure design feasibility and seamless project delivery.
• Perform site inspections to confirm measurements, oversee design implementation, and address onsite execution queries.
• Engage with clients to grasp their business needs and transform them into practical workplace solutions.
• Keep abreast of trends in workplace design, materials, finishes, and innovations.
• Assist in evolving NovaSpaces' design language, workplace standards, and reusable templates.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is required.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in commercial interiors, workplace design, or office fit-outs.
• Deep understanding of commercial office planning and workplace ergonomics.
• Strong ability to independently conceptualize and develop workspace solutions.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred), Lumion, Enscape, Twinmotion, Photoshop, and MS Office.
• Sound knowledge of construction detailing, material usage, and project execution.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and project coordination skills.
• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal Architect will transcend traditional drafting, thinking holistically about workplace design. This individual should understand business operations, challenge routine layouts, foresee execution obstacles, and proactively suggest solutions that enhance functionality, user experience, and long-term workplace value.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary ranging from 40,000 to 65,000 INR.

Location

This is an onsite position located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
