Sketch Annotation Internship - Remote, Part-Time

Overview

TechEduvisor is seeking a meticulous sketch artist to join as a Sketch Annotation Intern, working remotely on a part-time basis. The role involves creating a variety of hand-drawn sketch variants based on source character frames, following a well-defined Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). This structured framework specifies precise drawing instructions, shading guidelines, and review criteria, ensuring consistency and quality in all outputs rather than unrestricted creative freedom.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate seven distinct sketch variations per source frame, including rough drafts, object swaps, detailed sketches, and versions with specific expressions and backgrounds.
• Implement the assigned shading complexity level (Easy, Medium, or Hard) for each batch of sketches.
• Maintain the fidelity of character identity, pose, proportion, camera angle, and intended expression across all sketch variants.
• Accurately manage object swaps and placements, respecting the character's left/right orientation (not the viewer's).
• Update facial expressions and add simple background elements precisely as instructed.
• Ensure clean, polished line work utilizing the designated brush set and remove rough or construction lines in detailed illustrations.
• Complete comprehensive metadata documentation for each frame package, covering pose descriptions, view angles, file names, expression types, objects/backgrounds, and bounding box coordinates.
• Conduct thorough self-review against SOP error categories (critical, major, minor) to minimize rework before submission.

Skill Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of character and figure construction, including gesture drawing, anatomy, proportion, and perspective.
• Proficiency with digital drawing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint.
• Capability to produce confident, clean line work without shaky or broken strokes.
• Understanding of diverse facial expressions and the ability to distinguish emotions like happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, disgust, and confusion.
• Ability to rigorously follow detailed style guides covering shading techniques, contrast requirements, and file naming conventions.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in metadata entry and quality control.
• Consistency in quality and style across numerous frames.
• Basic knowledge of file handling, including PNG export, RGB color mode, DPI standards, and proper layer naming.

Eligibility and Conditions

• Applicants must be available to work from home and ready to start between August 18, 2026, and September 22, 2026.
• Commitment to the full two-month internship duration is required.
• Candidates should possess relevant skills and a genuine interest in the work.
• Applicants need to be capable of delivering a minimum of five complete sketch sets daily.

Compensation and Perks

• Monthly stipend ranging between INR 10,000 and 15,000.
