About the internship
Internship Overview
Join a short-term transcription project focused on Conversational Sindhi speech as a native speaker. This internship provides a unique chance to support Sindhi language initiatives while developing practical skills in transcription, proofreading, and linguistic QA over 1 to 1.5 months.
Role & Responsibilities
- Convert spoken Sindhi audio to accurately written, natural, and grammatically consistent text in line with project standards.
- Proofread and review transcripts to fix spelling errors, detect missing or misheard words, and correct misinterpretations.
- Ensure transcripts maintain high quality, consistency, and readability throughout the assignment.
- Coordinate with the project team to meet daily transcription targets and deadlines.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
Applicants should be native Sindhi speakers with excellent listening and writing abilities, strong attention to detail, and an interest in language technology or AI projects. The role suits women seeking to start or restart their careers. Candidates must be available to work remotely and start between August 19 and September 23, 2026, committing to a 2-month period.
Additional Requirements
- Fluency in Sindhi reading, writing, and comprehension.

Compensation & Benefits
The internship offers a stipend ranging between INR 5,000 to 10,000 per month. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation. Flexible working hours are also provided to accommodate individual schedules.
