Join Ideation Entertainment as a Music Intern where you'll engage children by operating sound and lighting at unique themed parties. The role involves DJ setup, playing child-appropriate music, and hosting interactive dance and game sessions during events. You will collaborate closely with event planners and parents to personalize music selections and manage event schedules effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage DJ equipment, audio gear, and lighting for children's party events.
- Design and maintain playlists featuring kid-friendly songs, clean radio edits, sing-alongs, and dance tracks.
- Deliver entertaining announcements and lead engaging dance activities or party games.
- Work in coordination with event organizers and parents to tailor musical content and timing as needed.
- Ensure punctual arrival, conduct thorough equipment checks before events, and handle orderly pack-up afterward.
Candidate Requirements and Skills
- Prior experience in DJing at events such as children's parties, school functions, or family gatherings is essential.
- Must be proficient in operating or bringing portable DJ setups including speakers, mixers, and microphones.
- Exhibit energetic, warm, and clear communication skills suited for entertaining kids.
- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and the ability to oversee event timelines independently.
