This internship offers a comprehensive opportunity for candidates passionate about content quality and editing within the digital media space. Interns will engage in reviewing articles for factual integrity including names, dates, timelines, quotes, and contexts. You will support editors by enhancing grammar, structure, clarity, readability, tone, and optimizing content for SEO.
Interns must research using trustworthy sources such as official statements, interviews, press releases, as well as social media and other credible outlets. Part of your work includes identifying claims requiring stronger evidence, detecting repetitive or basic AI-generated text, and proposing ways to increase originality and usefulness. You will also validate articles for inconsistencies, misleading information, and apparent inaccuracies.
Additional responsibilities will involve reviewing article presentation elements such as headlines, metadata, and image captions while adhering to PrimeTimer's editorial guidelines and publishing standards. The role encompasses collaboration with editors and writers to scale overall content quality and supporting fact-checking across a range of entertainment and general interest subjects.

Compensation and Benefits
A monthly stipend ranging from INR 8,000 to 10,000 will be provided. Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities for a job offer.
Additional Requirements
- Strong enthusiasm for writing, journalism, digital media, entertainment, or content production.
- Proficient command of written English with a desire to refine editing skills.
- Excellent research and fact-checking capabilities or willingness to develop them.
- High attention to detail and analytical curiosity.
- Interest in entertainment, TV, movies, streaming services, pop culture, and celebrity news.
- Basic or growing knowledge of AI, astronomy, true crime, and human interest topics is advantageous.
- Understanding of SEO and digital publishing is helpful but not mandatory.
- Experience with writing, college publications, blogging, social media, or editorial roles is a plus; however, freshers are encouraged to apply.
