3D Modelling & Visualisation Internship

About the Internship

This internship focuses on creating optimized and visually attractive 3D assets and environments designed for AR/VR experiences, interactive installations, product demonstrations, games, event concepts, presentations, and museum technology exhibits. Interns will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring engaging digital experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Design 3D models including products, props, exhibition elements, booths, interiors, and conceptual environments from provided references or briefs.
• Generate clean topology, construct UV layouts, apply textures and materials, set up lighting and cameras, and produce renders ready for presentations.
• Optimize polygon counts, texture dimensions, draw calls, levels of detail, pivots, scale, and naming to suit real-time Unity and AR/VR applications.
• Export assets maintaining correct materials, orientation, and hierarchy in appropriate file formats.
• Create mood boards, grey-box models, iterative designs, turntable animations, walkthroughs, and finalized visualizations.
• Collaborate with Unity developers, VFX artists, embedded engineers, and client teams ensuring technical and creative requirements are met.
• Incorporate feedback while preserving consistency and agreed quality standards for assets.
• Maintain organized source files, texture libraries, reference materials, and controlled deliverables.
• Identify potential feasibility, performance, and production risks early and propose feasible alternatives.
• Support preparation of presentation artworks and assist with on-site visualization when needed.

Candidate Eligibility and Profile

Applicants should be full-time available interns starting between August 21 and September 25, 2026, for a 6-month period, working onsite in Noida. Candidates from Computer Science Engineering or related design fields with relevant skills and interests are eligible. A portfolio demonstrating expertise in modeling, texturing, lighting, and visual presentations is essential.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with 3D software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Experienced in hard-surface or environmental modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of UV unwrapping, PBR texturing, lighting, materials, and rendering processes.
• Understanding of real-time 3D asset optimization principles.
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Substance Painter or similar texturing tools.
• Good grasp of composition and visual communication standards.
• Ability to interpret references, accept constructive feedback, and collaborate professionally onsite.

Desirable Additional Skills

• Experience with Substance Designer and Unreal Engine or Unity asset pipelines.
• Knowledge of CAD conversion to 3D models.
• Character modeling, rigging, and animation capabilities.
• Previous work in architectural visualization or exhibition and event design.

Internship Benefits and Other Details

• Monthly stipend ranging from INR 16,000 to 23,500, composed of a fixed pay between INR 8,000 and 15,000 plus incentives between INR 8,000 and 8,500.
