Job Summary
This role demands hands-on proficiency working with Unix/Linux environments accompanied by strong competency in SQL databases. A key part of the job involves writing and managing Shell or Bash scripts to automate workflows and support database operations.
Technical Responsibilities and Skills
- Operate with a solid understanding of database systems including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Conduct debugging, analyze logs, and provide production support to maintain system stability.
- Apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and maintain version control using Git.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience in Python backend frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Development and integration of RESTful APIs.
- Scheduling and automation using tools like Control-M, Autosys, or Airflow.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Exposure to ETL and data processing pipelines.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and DevOps processes.
