About the Role
This opportunity offers a local position in Kalgoorlie with no night shifts, FIFO rosters, or shutdown duties, allowing you to return home each day. The role suits individuals experienced in process, plant, or chemical operations seeking a hands-on work environment with stable, long-term employment.
Work Schedule and Benefits
- Monday to Friday day shifts from 7am to 3pm
- No night shifts or fly-in-fly-out arrangements, ensuring home every night
- Flexible start times, including options for early starts
- Potential overtime as operational demands increase
- Employed in a small, cohesive team fostering close collaboration
Key Duties
- Mixing and batching various chemical products throughout the production cycle
- Regular loading of raw materials and daily operation of forklifts
- Monitoring product quality through testing and inspections
- Preparing products for dispatch by loading tankers
- General yard maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Assisting with basic plant maintenance duties
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a current forklift licence (mandatory)
- Proven experience in process operations, mining or processing plants, chemical manufacturing, or other industrial settings
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a readiness to engage in practical tasks
- Excellent focus on safety and attention to detail
- Ability to function well within a small, disciplined team environment
- Willingness to adhere to PPE protocols, including respirator usage (clean-shaven policy applies)
