About the Company
Our client is a California-based organization delivering software solutions to customers in the United States. They are expanding their operations and are establishing a new development center in Ahmedabad, India, seeking motivated engineers to join their team.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The position requires 2 to 5 years of practical experience in embedded systems. Key responsibilities include hands-on hardware design, selecting components, creating schematics, layout work, and conducting testing. Candidates will work with ARM Cortex processors such as A7/A8/A9 SoCs or M0/M4 MCUs, and manage peripherals including WiFi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Sub-GHz, 802.15.4, video, audio, SD cards, USB, and I2C interfaces.
Additional tasks involve high-speed hardware design and familiarity with certification testing processes. The role also involves managing Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, video, audio, WiFi, and Bluetooth interfaces. Software responsibilities include software architecture design, driver development, board support package (BSP) porting, bootloader programming, algorithm design, and performance tuning.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address critical issues efficiently. Analytical thinking and mathematical aptitude, alongside meticulous attention to detail, are essential to deliver quality outcomes on the first attempt.
Experience with Embedded Linux or real-time operating systems (RTOS) is preferred. Knowledge of embedded software common to ARM Cortex-A and M series processors, PIC, TI MSP430, or Atmel microcontrollers is considered beneficial.
