Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely within a team consisting of developers, testers, and project managers to deliver optimal solutions for our pension software.
• Develop new features and enhancements for pension software utilizing Smalltalk programming language.
• Analyze, design, and implement client-specific adaptations and extensions tailored to individual customer needs.
• Provide third-level technical support by assisting the support team with complex software-related issues.
• Document and resolve software defects effectively.

Your Profile

• Educational background in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar disciplines.
• Practical experience with Smalltalk either professionally or academically.
• Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and foundational knowledge of database management systems and related technologies like Java and PostgreSQL.
• Motivated to learn and grow continuously, both technically and personally.
• Fluent in German, with excellent written and spoken communication skills at least at C1 level.
