Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Support professional for a full-time permanent position located at our Palmwoods site on the Sunshine Coast. This position presents a hands-on opportunity focused on maintaining the cleanliness and operational integrity of our facilities and grounds during an exciting period of company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks across facilities and surrounding grounds using systems like CMMS/Upkeep
  • Uphold compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and QA (Quality Assurance) corrective actions
  • Assist the Maintenance Team with both scheduled and reactive maintenance duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of external areas including driveways, carparks, pathways, and roads
  • Perform basic internal repairs such as fixing taps, replacing toilet seats, adjusting light fittings, furniture repair, and general painting
  • Support trades personnel during breakdowns and planned maintenance activities
  • Assist in cleaning and upkeep of communal site areas including eating spaces and BBQ facilities, and facilitate event setups
  • Operate machinery such as forklifts and scissor lifts when necessary
  • Receive training to operate the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) for coverage during operator absence, including supporting contractors and performing filter cleaning; receive higher duties allowance upon qualification

Candidate Profile

  • Relevant prior experience in general maintenance or comparable roles
  • Competency in basic handyman repairs
  • Forklift and scissor lift operation skills and licenses preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with adherence to GMP and QA standards
  • Motivated to learn and capable of managing WWTP operations when required
  • Proactive mindset with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
