Role Overview
As a Bartender at Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest service while contributing to smooth bar operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily briefings and diligently execute assigned tasks.
- Welcome and bid farewell to guests with professionalism and warmth.
- Engage in suggestive selling to enhance guest experience and promote offerings.
- Support the manager to facilitate seamless bar operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tables, chairs, and all operational equipment.
- Proactively address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist the cashier in preparing and presenting bills efficiently.
- Stay informed by reviewing the outlet logbook every day.
- Uphold a polished personal appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
- Help conduct training sessions as designated by the Bar Manager.
- Ensure proper setup of Respak and InfoGenesis systems according to meal periods.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Bar Manager.
Candidate Expectations
- Possess a service-driven attitude and excel in teamwork, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Preferably have previous experience in luxury restaurant or hotel environments.
- Hold at least a Higher Secondary, Pre-University, A level, College, Professional Certificate, NiTEC, or equivalent qualification in Food & Beverage Services Management or related fields.
- Have a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
