Job Description

The Lead acts as the product authority within their store, responsible for imparting product and trend insights to associates and management. They play a key role in aiding customer service excellence and supporting the training and growth of store associates.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit thorough knowledge of products as well as store procedures and policies.
• Stay informed on store inventory and market trends.
• Manage daily merchandising activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly shipments.
• Support managers in associate training and development.
• Create product displays and features as directed.
• Maintain store appearance up to company standards.
• Actively promote all company initiatives during customer engagements.
• Deliver excellent customer service consistently.
• Oversee cleanliness of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, restrooms upkeep, and general maintenance support.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Sound product knowledge.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Capability to use hands and arms for repetitive tasks like keyboarding and telephone operation.
• Capacity to lift or assist in lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication via speech, sight, and sound, with or without assistive devices.
• Able to perform movements such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and crouching as needed during work activities.
