About Salthill Hotel
Salthill Hotel is a distinguished 4-star establishment situated on the picturesque Galway Bay coastline. We are known for delivering outstanding service and luxurious experiences to our guests. We are looking for a motivated and proactive Hotel Manager to join our leadership team and uphold the exceptional service standards that define our hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all hotel operational activities.
- Provide supervision and support to various department managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and handle feedback promptly and professionally.
- Oversee staff performance, facilitate training and professional growth, and carry out performance assessments.
- Ensure strict adherence to hotel policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and financial documentation linked to hotel operations.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategies aimed at boosting guest satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
- Perform regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and safety standards.
- Encourage a positive workplace atmosphere by fostering collaboration and high team morale.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles within the hotel industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and guest service protocols.
- Strong leadership capabilities and effective team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism and sound judgement.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
