About the Role

Representmedia.agency, located in Indiranagar, Bangalore, is seeking an imaginative Video Editor who goes beyond basic cutting to craft compelling stories through video. This role requires a passion for social media formats like Reels and Shorts, along with a flair for integrating AI technologies into creative edits.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop captivating video narratives from basic briefs, ensuring engaging and trend-sensitive content.
• Utilize strong editing techniques focused on pacing, music, sound design, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Create social-first video content optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Leverage AI-driven video generation tools to enhance creativity and innovation in edits.
• Maintain a creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and push boundaries in visual storytelling.

Requirements

• Proven proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar applications.
• Solid understanding of current social media trends and the ability to craft content that captures audience attention.
• Experience working with AI video generation tools and a desire to experiment with new technologies.
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to evoke emotions through video content.

Additional Skills (Bonus)

• Experience using AI platforms like Veo, Kling, Higgsfield, Runway, or Sora.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evolving social media trends and formats.
• Ability to integrate AI techniques with traditional editing and motion graphics.
• An excellent eye for cinematic visual quality.

Working Conditions

This full-time position is based onsite at the Indiranagar office in Bangalore. The workweek is Monday through Friday.
