Job description
Overview
Represent Media seeks a passionate Junior Video Editor skilled in crafting seamless cuts, dynamic transitions, and rhythmically synced edits. Ideal candidates are those who seamlessly blend creativity with technical expertise using industry-standard editing software.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of content including reels, brand films, and client videos designed to engage and be widely shared.
- Collaborate closely with senior editors, animators, and 3D artists to refine project quality.
- Transform raw footage into compelling narratives with careful attention to pacing, rhythm, and sound synchronization.
- Occasionally assist with motion graphics and color grading to enhance the visual appeal.
- Respond promptly and professionally to feedback, making necessary revisions efficiently.
Qualifications
- Between zero and two years of video editing experience, including internships and freelance projects.
- Proficient practical skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail combined with an intuitive sense for storytelling.
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively and maintain pace within a fast-moving creative team.
- Submission of a showreel showcasing your editing abilities is required.
Additional Information
- Work location is onsite at Indiranagar, Bangalore.
- Working days are Monday through Friday, with working hours from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
