As a Stock Associate, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our store by supporting stock management and delivering exceptional guest experiences, bringing the island vibe to life for every visitor.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an inviting destination by processing merchandise onto the sales floor, replenishing stock, and sharing product knowledge with customers.
- Collaborate with the Stock Coordinator to oversee daily stockroom activities, ensuring neatness and organization to facilitate easy access for incoming and outgoing items.
- Handle all inbound and outbound shipments accurately and promptly in line with Retail Operations Policies and Procedures.
- Participate actively in store meetings, assist in report generation, and communicate any inventory inquiries or discrepancies related to stock.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience in guest service and stock management roles.
- Highly organized with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable working with numbers.
- Team player with a proactive attitude to identify opportunities and take initiative.
- Possession of a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to undertake additional duties necessary to support business operations.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and move weights up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
- Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and ladder climbing required.
- Capacity to stand for prolonged periods, up to an 8-hour shift.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation Details
The pay rate for this position is influenced by factors including experience, skills, knowledge, location, and budget considerations. The typical rate ranges from $15.00 or minimum wage up to $21.00 per hour.
