Key Responsibilities

• Foster a welcoming, tropical dining destination by actively engaging as part of a team and exhibiting genuine hospitality.
• Maintain dishware, pots, pans, and cooking tools by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing them.
• Keep the dishroom and related equipment tidy and well-organized at all times.
• Support kitchen safety, cleanliness, and sanitation according to agency standards.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience working in a fast-paced culinary or hospitality setting.
• Holding a valid food handler's card and any other mandatory certifications in accordance with applicable laws.
• Basic familiarity with restaurant operations including proper storage and rotation of food, equipment, kitchenware, plateware, glassware, and silverware; effective cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking procedures; plus general housekeeping duties like sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Readiness to undertake any additional tasks essential to supporting business functions.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Regular bending, stooping, and kneeling throughout shifts.
• Continuous standing during work periods.
• Experience handling equipment including hand carts, blenders, knives, slicers, and wine keys in accordance with training manuals.
• Work schedule will vary according to business demands.
