Solutions Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join a large-scale enterprise technology environment based in Dublin. This position involves working extensively across Microsoft Azure platforms, hybrid cloud setups, applications, integrations, infrastructure, networking, and data management. It is a comprehensive architectural role focusing on delivering end-to-end technical solutions rather than specializing exclusively in cloud or software domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ownership of solution architecture from capturing business needs to design and successful delivery.
• Design technology solutions spanning Azure cloud services, hybrid cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Collaborate on a variety of technologies including applications, APIs, integrations, infrastructure, networking, and data platforms.
• Support legacy enterprise system migration and modernization efforts.
• Create high-level designs (HLDs), architecture diagrams, integration blueprints, and technical roadmaps.
• Engage closely with cloud, infrastructure, security, data, and application teams to develop unified solutions.
• Evaluate technology alternatives and recommend practical architectural strategies.
• Facilitate architecture governance presentations and interact with senior stakeholders from business and technology domains.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Cloud Architect or a comparable role in enterprise-scale environments.
• Solid practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure covering both infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) components.
• Experience working with hybrid cloud ecosystems and modernizing legacy systems.
• Comprehensive understanding across applications, integration, networking, and infrastructure technologies.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF is advantageous but not mandatory.
