Role Overview

The Manager, Talent Management & Development, will assist the Head of Talent Management & Development in translating the organization's talent strategy into practical, scalable programs. This position involves leading initiatives in talent management, succession planning, leadership training, organizational capability development, and career advancement, collaborating closely with People & Culture teams and business leaders to assure cohesive and effective implementation across all operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate talent reviews, calibrations, and succession planning processes throughout the organization.
  • Assist in identifying successors for leadership and key roles and support talent acceleration programs and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Monitor succession preparedness, bench strength, talent movements, and potential risks, providing regular insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Oversee leadership development programs, including academies and future leader pathways, and enhance management skills via coaching, mentoring, and targeted initiatives.
  • Align learning and development efforts with business needs by developing curricula, functional and technical programs, and career growth tools to foster continuous learning and innovation.
  • Support the development and deployment of a competency framework integrated into performance, learning, and succession systems, and coordinate interventions to bridge capability gaps.
  • Maintain talent management tools, playbooks, and dashboards, delivering analytics and recommendations to improve talent practices and outcomes consistently across regions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, leaders, and external partners to design, implement, and evaluate talent initiatives and foster ongoing improvements in talent management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • At least six years of professional experience in talent management, leadership or organizational development, learning and development, or related areas.
  • Proven ability to design and execute talent and development programs, including succession planning and competency management.
  • Experience working in diverse, multi-country or multicultural organizational settings is preferred.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation, presentation, and data-driven decision-making.
