Role Purpose and Key Accountabilities
The Manager of Talent Management & Development will assist the Head of Talent Management in implementing effective and scalable talent strategies. This position will spearhead programs related to talent management, succession planning, leadership progression, learning, career advancement, and organizational capability across multiple countries.
- Coordinate talent reviews, calibrations, and succession planning operations organization-wide.
- Identify and cultivate successors for key leadership and critical positions.
- Manage initiatives focused on high-potential employees, leadership pipelines, talent acceleration, and internal mobility.
- Monitor succession preparedness, talent movements, bench strength, and key talent risk areas.
- Deliver talent insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead leadership development programs and pathways to nurture future leaders.
- Enhance managerial capabilities through coaching, mentoring, peer learning, and specialized development initiatives.
- Collaborate with leaders to prioritize and address leadership and capability needs.
- Assess and refine development initiatives based on feedback and data analysis.
- Oversee learning and development projects that align with business goals, including creating curricula and functional capability programs.
- Promote career development pathways and professional growth opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Implement and integrate competency frameworks into performance, learning, succession, and career processes.
- Support capability assessments to identify gaps and coordinate targeted interventions.
- Maintain talent tools, playbooks, guidelines, and ensure consistent application of talent practices across countries.
- Prepare and manage talent dashboards, interpreting key metrics to inform decision making.
- Collaborate with regional People & Culture teams, management, and external partners to deliver and improve talent initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, talent discussions, and lead related sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least six years' experience in talent management, learning and development, leadership growth, or organizational development.
- Proven experience designing and executing talent programs including succession planning, leadership development, career pathways, and competency management.
- Preferred experience working within diverse or multi-country organizational contexts.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Competency in utilizing talent analytics to drive informed decision-making.
