Job Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and lightly wipe all trash containers; collect and dispose of waste paper and rubbish to designated disposal locations.
• Vacuum rugs and carpets; sweep and dust mop hard flooring; damp mop or clean spills in offices, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and public spaces.
• Manually dust and wipe surfaces including office furnishings, filing cabinets, fixtures, wood paneling, windowsills, HVAC diffusers, wall grilles, and other horizontal areas.
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from vertical surfaces such as doors, doorframes, light switches, entry glass, and partitions.
• Maintain janitorial closet cleanliness and organization.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Good time management skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of custodial or equivalent cleaning experience preferred.
