This internship involves developing AI-powered solutions in financial services, focusing on automating document processing and analysis, credit memo generation, and meeting analysis within a commercial finance context.

Responsibilities

Develop AI agents to process and validate financial and compliance documents effectively.
Implement intelligent document analysis systems for PDFs, financial statements, leases, and application forms.
Create tools for generating credit memos that ensure calculation accuracy and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that learn from past lending decisions to improve outcomes.
Continuously enhance model performance through fine-tuning workflows utilizing techniques such as LoRA.
Design meeting intelligence solutions for platforms like Teams and Zoom, incorporating sentiment analysis and risk detection features.
Apply AI cost-optimization methods including model routing, prompt caching, batch processing, and model distillation.

Candidates must be based in Bangalore and available to work from home.
Applicants should be ready to start between August 25, 2026, and September 29, 2026.
Availability for a 6-month duration is required.
Applicants must have relevant interests and skills in AI engineering.

Required Skills and Experience

Strong proficiency in Python programming.
Experience with Git, APIs, and software development workflows.
Understanding of large language model (LLM) concepts including prompting, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Ability to build and clearly explain substantial technical projects.
Excellent written communication skills.
Reliability and capability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Claude, OpenAI APIs, or agent frameworks.
Experience fine-tuning models using LoRA or QLoRA.
Knowledge of the Hugging Face ecosystem and model deployment tools.
Background in traditional machine learning methods and performance evaluation.
Experience in OCR, document processing, and information extraction techniques.
Familiarity with FastAPI, Docker, TypeScript, Node.js, or workflow automation.
Integration experience with Microsoft Graph, Teams SDK, or Zoom platforms.
An interest in finance and commercial lending industries.
