Quest for Success seeks a WordPress Development Intern to actively engage in enhancing the company website’s design, functionality, and user experience. This role entails hands-on work beyond mere content uploads by independently implementing site changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain WordPress website pages.
- Create landing pages for various initiatives including programs, events, webinars, and campaigns.
- Utilize WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders for site customization.
- Refine design and layout elements throughout the website.
- Ensure responsive performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Implement and customize forms, menus, pop-ups, buttons, and other interactive components.
- Upload and format blogs and other website content correctly.
- Diagnose and resolve basic WordPress and plugin issues.
- Enhance website speed, usability, and overall performance.
- Apply fundamental technical and on-page SEO optimizations.
- Use HTML and CSS for specialized customizations as needed.
- Conduct routine website audits and suggest actionable improvements.
- Collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to execute website updates.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong practical experience working with WordPress platforms.
- Familiarity with Elementor or comparable page builders.
- Basic to intermediate skills in HTML and CSS.
- Good understanding of WordPress theme and plugin ecosystems.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Basic grasp of SEO concepts and website performance tuning.
- Sharp eye for design details and usability considerations.
- Capability to independently troubleshoot and resolve website challenges.
- Additional knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or technical SEO is advantageous.
