About the Role
Join Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader driving technological advancement and fostering growth for young technology professionals. We are seeking a skilled Tanium Administrator with 2 to 4 years of experience to work onsite in Chennai or Kochi.
Key Responsibilities
- Download Microsoft patches regularly and create deployment patches and groups for monthly distribution to endpoints.
- Configure maintenance windows for critical servers, workstations, or VDI systems according to business needs.
- Troubleshoot common Tanium-related problems including agent connectivity issues, endpoint visibility, configuration errors, and deployment failures.
- Support patching, compliance, and vulnerability remediation workflows at an operational level.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding of endpoints and validate inventory and reports.
- Deploy monthly Microsoft patches to endpoints using Tanium.
- Address endpoint vulnerabilities by patching based on security incidents.
- Create deployment groups segmented by Organizational Units (OU) or computer names to manage package deployments per user requests.
- Develop .msi or .exe installation packages for applications not already available in Tanium for deployment.
Additional Information
The candidate should have completed 15 years of continuous education. The position offers an opportunity to participate in virtual interviews scheduled on 26th August '26. Locations include Chennai and Kochi.
