Role Overview
The Small Tools Fitter (Test and Run Technician) role is based in the depot and involves conducting fundamental electrical and functional testing, along with servicing and cleaning equipment returned from hire. The primary objective is to ensure products are safe, functional, and presentable for the next customer.
This position entails significant responsibility and offers an excellent pathway to develop a career in engineering, supported by award-winning in-house training programs.
Working Hours
The role requires working Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 17:00, totaling 42 hours per week.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Basic electrical knowledge, particularly with 12/24 volt systems
- Elementary mechanical aptitude and proficient use of tools
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in the hire industry or other engineering fields is advantageous
- Capability to contribute towards the business unit's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives, specifically the 'Decade to Deliver' strategy
