Overview
We are looking for an amiable and numerically skilled Night Auditor to join our expanding hospitality team in Dothan, AL. This role involves supporting hotel operations during overnight hours with a strong focus on excellent customer interaction and precise financial reporting. We offer comprehensive training and tools to help advance your career in the hospitality industry.
Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $12 to $12.75.
Qualifications
- Strong communication abilities and superior customer service skills are essential.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible, overnight shifts.
- Prior experience in hospitality or guest services is desirable but not mandatory.
- Competence in computer use is required, with preference given to candidates familiar with accounting or reservation software.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports with management and department leads.
- Perform reconciliations for credit card transactions, financial documents, occupancy levels, room charges, final billing, and cash drawer audits.
- Handle guest inquiries, manage reservations and check-ins, coordinate housekeeping, security, and service tasks, and resolve any guest complaints effectively.
- Maintain high standards to ensure guests enjoy a superior experience throughout their stay.
- Conduct additional administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and accounting activities as necessary.
